Christopher “Kip” Bohn

Christopher “Kip” Bohn, FCAS, MAAA, CERA has been a practicing actuary for close to 30 years. His experiences include carrier, corporate, public sector, government and captive insurance consulting among multiple other skill sets. He began his career in 1993 on the carrier side and as an intern, went full time after graduating university Summa Cum Lauda. He moved to consulting approximately eight years later. In late 2017, he started his own consulting company, Bohn Risk Solutions, LLC and has been assisting clients in this capacity since that date. His experience includes, but is not limited to, reserving, pricing, forecasting, stochastic modeling, rating plan development and assisting clients with their data and data systems. He offers advice on how to improve upon their current state and helps them better understand their risk landscape. He is also heavily involved in Enterprise Risk Management and taking organizations to the next level of risk assessment and quantification. He has worked on almost every line of insurance imageable from personal to commercial lines. He has also spent a considerable amount of time assisting organizations in evaluating mitigation and transfer strategies around both insurable and non-insurable risk (or where the market has little appetite for transfer). His breath of expertise would be a valuable contribution to a multitude of engagements.
